Howdy everyone! We have made it aaaaalmost all the way, we are now in Namibia. Crossing the border from Angola to Namibia was like going back to Europe again. Actually Namibia reminds us so much of Australia it seems like we have left Africa. Supermarkets everywhere, ATM machines that actually work, no more potholes in the road, friendly police officers, English speaking people and everything seems to be pretty cheap too! Also no more running for visas, planning where to get fuel and food, its time to relax! The next few days well be resting until well feel like moving again. For now enjoy the video compilation from Burkina Faso to Angola, be warned some shots may be graphic as a live chicken will be devoured.

Yay! We have been watching your blog since before you posted about your troubles with Angola visas - waiting to see how the next leg of your journey went. We are so happy you guys made it! We are planning almost the exact same trip as you right now. Because I am American and my husband Javier is Spanish, we are having troubles getting visas for me here in Spain before we leave. We are particularly worried about Nigerian, DRC, and Angolan visas. We were very happy to see that you were able to get visas for these countries while on the road. We would be very thankful to hear any tips and information you might give about the process of getting those visas while traveling. We know you are busy, but we hope you might be able to write us at the email I provided? You can also see our blog. Thank you for your time. Your blog has provided hope for us when we were feeling hopeless about our upcoming trip! Have fun and safe travels!
