Greeting from Netherlands! We are here now visiting Bart’s family. We drove in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany.
In Helsinki we met all my friends. Such a nice time and thank you Linda for having us there! Then we went to Tallinn to do some cheap shopping and to visit the dentist. After a couple of days there, we drove to Tartu to meet up with our friends Maria & Ville. We even went to the sauna and spent most of our time going from restaurant to restaurant. We felt like new people after leaving Tartu. Cheers Maria & Ville!
In Poland we visited the biggest concentration camp in Auschwitz to catch up on some history, leaving a big impression on what human beings are capable of. It is such an interesting and terrible place at the same time.
Further in Poland we met Bart’s friend in Wroclaw who took us out and showed us the best places in one evening. The next day we were finally able to drive on the German autobahn! I imagined it to be full of nice cars driving 220kmh or more. I was wrong. It was full of trucks and roadwork, I mean full. During the day you can only drive 130kmh, making it a long and boring road. Next time I want to go back there in the night with a Ferrari. But it was cool.
Arriving in the Netherlands we were immediately welcomed by 6 traffic jams. It was worth it because we met Bart’s new nephew Max for the first time. Now we are staying with Bart’s family in the Netherlands and have all kind of nice thing are ahead of us. We will write about them soon. Also make sure you read the new page about the car.
